I’ve always had a very good time there, and in spite of it being an ultra red city in a red state, the people there were very friendly and hospitable.

Also, it was safe.

But both our low post guys neutralized this 14 and 7 both games they played him. Plus our kids aer good guys.

I take our guys, as they needed GMU production in its typical form and his production wasn’t typical. It cost them.

Russell wasn’t an Angel, far from it. Seems his family is about that life as well. But he isn’t Chunk Style. We dont need that type of person fouling up the program and more importantly other players.

Yeah, I was hoping he'd land at VCU. I think I read somewhere that he wanted to return to Richmond so I assumed we would be the frontrunner. No worries, wouldn't be surprised if he lands back in the portal after one year of Mooney.

This is the cue for when a fans says....I did hear that VCU could have gotten him but declined.

Yeah, considering what they have returning along with adding Dinkins, they might be contenders next season.

I heard from someone that knows someone that calls them while they are drinking their morning coffee that this kid wanted to come to VCU but we declined. Not even politely declined. We hung up the phone and blocked his number.
