There is so much money around the UVA programs. Most donors won’t bat an eye at the new amount. I was involved with both Scott Stadium and JPJ projects and money was never ever an issue
 
They changed it up. My section is the old $10,000 donation section. You can sit mid-court down low for $1,000 per seat plus tickets. Maybe it is more expensive than most but I bet those kind of seats in other arenas cost a pretty penny. I love that they went to the seat purchase model.

I remember a young grad coming to a game that was televised. He had just had knee surgery and was struggling with crutches to get to the West end zone with his buds.
The ticket manager, at the time, came over out of concern and said you're going through a lot here, why didn't you just watch the game on TV.
I'll never forget his response "There's nothing like the live show."
The game, the Peppas, the Gold Rush dancers, the cheer squad and, of course, the crowd...fun stuff.
