Archie and the team he put together both suck.

Miller is just not cut out for the present landscape of college basketball or at a school such as URI where the coach has to do more various heavy lifting (as opposed to his previous stints at Dayton and Indiana).

Rhody is headed toward a very poor season having already lost its first two A-10 games at home to Loyola and LaSalle. It is looking more and more likely that the school will have no choice but to fire him in some ten weeks buying out the last year of his hefty contract. The big issue before that is URI first has to hire a new AD and have them in place by late February.

Archie Miller is about to fall to 10-8, 1-4 this year.

This is his 4th season at Rhody. He’s about to be 49-63 overall and 19-40 in the A10.

His teams at Rhody have finished 14th, T-10th, and T-10th. Rhody is about to be T-13 in the league.

His seat has to be getting red hot.

Coaching at Rhode Island was embarrassing enough. Getting fired from there is going to be absolutely brutal.
