A10 tournament thread

reposting on this thread. any a-10 tourney hot takes/ prediction? i think mason loses in the quarters to gw and ofc vcu wins every game by 30. another hot take is that i think dayton may be a suprise at large if they make it to but lose in the a10 final
 
Rahsool Diggins has more or less scored at will this season but has 0 points and 2 fouls so far.
 
Anyone else watching this game and seeing Martin's FACE just now (at timeout headed to commercial)?

ok... so hot take #1.... interesting pick and its possible. GMU won both the 2 regular season meetings. In DC GMU took the lead on a Made layup by Haynes with 46 secs left. GW had a chance to take the lead back on FTs but missed both.... then had to foul a couple of times which GMU made 2 FTs in the last 30 secs to push the lead to 3 & then GW missed the game tying 3 with 1 sec left. And then at GMU.... the game went to 2OT.

So that one is certainly possible as its tough to beat a team 3 times & the first 2 were nail biters.

As for Hot take #2..... I hate to say it... but I doubt it. Yeah they've won 8 out of their last 10... but with how they started conference play... especially a 20 pt loss to GW... oof. Idk.

Plus most places they are "Next four out" versus "First four out"..... so they would need a lot of Bubble teams to lose.... Oklahoma, Indiana, Xavier, Ohio State, UNC (who won today), Texas (who won today), Wake Forest, Boise State.... etc. to all lose early in their conference tourneys
