Adjehi Baru - Stewart School - 2011 prospect

Hey I was wondering if anyone had any info on Adjehi Baru who currently plays for the Stewart School locally? I was at an internship today and talked to two visiting interns from that school and they said this guy has definite star power. One of the guys I was talking to films the team and has talked to several college basketball coaches who have come and visited.
Apparently the coach from Wake Forest, Charlotte, Richmond, William and Mary, UVA, and Virginia Tech have all looked into this guy. Does anyone know if VCU is looking into this guy?
I saw a thread awhile ago talking about him, but not much was mentioned. He's 6'9" currently and is playing in the state championships this week.

I've seem him play. He's got a well put together body for his age, and has decent athleticism and skills. I heard that all of the ACC schools (minus Duke and Unc) are recruiting him.

Yes, Grant's brother lives in Richmond or Chesterfield. I forget which one. I am kinda getting the feeling that if Grant wants him for Alabama then Grant will get him, so we will have to see how that works out. If of course the story about Grant bringing someone to Stewart is true and it is indeed this player.

Are you sure that you are not being somewhat generous by calling them mediocre? They are 1-7 over their last 8 games. Not sure that qualifies as mediocre.

I've seen him play a couple of times. Super nice kid, but very, very raw. Gets in foul trouble by making risky decisions, ala Larry. Has major upside, but needs some serious coaching to turn into a basketball player, not a basketball athlete.

One thing I will say is that he may play better with better players. Steward is pretty good for that level, but it seems like those kids don't really know how to play with a guy like Baru.

yeah theres a team in the midwest with a similar record to bama that I believe we just outrecruited

I am not saying that we can't recruit against Alabama. But if the story is true and Grant is one of the few people that this player knows in the states then I am sure he would have the inside track.
