Larry,

You are about to make more money at a very young age than most likely you expected. Most likely have been besieged with new friends, and perhaps even family since the the word of your new status as a potential first round pick. So too will you add even more when and if you are chosen in the first round of the upcoming NBA draft and given a guaranteed salary. Oh and also you will most likely be considered more handsome as well. Comes with the territory.

Given the above, just remember friends are friends. Those who were on board when you were missing the lay ups are those you should keep close. As to the women remember who you were and what you attracted prior to your fame and money.

Get a good financial adviser. Interview a few people dont just choose the first person someone suggest. Once you choose the adviser call him at an odd time of the night and see how he treats you. Do the same for a potential agent. Interview a few and then prior to making a choice call each at say 11:30 at night. Choose a Friday or Saturday. See who responds and who has issues.

Set aside money you plan to give to family and friends and do not exceed that amount under any circumstances. Also, save a large percentage of you cash off the top. Invest conservatively, and do not invest in any clubs, or restaurants or any other whack job ideas your friends and family bring to you.

Good luck. I enjoyed seeing you perform and wish you well.

One more thing, save your money!!!!

This is a weird thread. But I bet that Larry will lead a fuller life now that he's received trusted advice on fame, fortune, women and investments from a stranger on a message board.

Hey Larry! When you get to Florida look me up in the panhandle.

Your friend,

I have no idea why you would think this thread is worthy of server space, but here's a guy that reads posts from whack jobs...you might want to send him your stuff...

I agree. What kind of world has this become that you can't give anonymous creepy advice to famous people that don't know you without people poopting all over you.

Joey,

You are about to make more money at a very young age than most likely you expected. Most likely have been besieged with new friends, and perhaps even family since the the word of your new status as a potential first round pick. So too will you add even more when and if you are chosen to play in Europe or Germany and given a guaranteed salary. Oh and also you will most likely be considered more handsome as well. Comes with the territory.

Eh, the message is still true though.

Too many stories of athletes letting fame and money go to their head.

All Rams of the Past, Present, and Future,

Continue to eat bananas, they are potassium enriched and will keep you from cramping up. No one loves charlie horses.

Creepily trying to reach you on the Nation,
