larrier was 23 out of high school
solo ball who’s a sophmore, but real good. he also had some injuries and i heard mono as well. had his 3 highest minute games and tied for fourth before an injury. played the 17 minutes on 11/30, his most all season, and then i assume got hurt didn’t play again until 1/8 and never touched double digit minutes for the rest of the seasonI wonder why things didn't work out at UCONN.
Was he playing behind some senior guards?
It's insane arguing about it, but 247 gave Larrier a 0.9795 rating and Nowell 0.9865. Whatever. They're both at the very top of the heap in that measure.larrier was 23 out of high school
I am informed that he played behind Diarra, not Ball. And Diarra was a 5th yr senior. But I didn't watch UConn all that much so I can't say based on my own observation.solo ball who’s a sophmore, but real good. he also had some injuries and i heard mono as well. had his 3 highest minute games and tied for fourth before an injury. played the 17 minutes on 11/30, his most all season, and then i assume got hurt didn’t play again until 1/8 and never touched double digit minutes for the rest of the season

this is what Uconn listed as their depth chart - not to say that there were situations were Ball got some rest and they had one of the 3 PGs play in Ball's spot ( so depth charts are not finite but sometimes fluid since offenses typically have 3 or 4 guys handling ball not the traditional Bob Cousy PG role)solo ball who’s a sophmore, but real good. he also had some injuries and i heard mono as well. had his 3 highest minute games and tied for fourth before an injury. played the 17 minutes on 11/30, his most all season, and then i assume got hurt didn’t play again until 1/8 and never touched double digit minutes for the rest of the season
I'm not either but it's the world of college basketball. Win now, and worry about next year later. Development for next year is out the door, because those players may not be here next year. Not a big fan of 6 year players taking minutes of players that need development run (but that is me)
true good point. j realized they both are uconn vcu transfers just reverseIt's insane arguing about it, but 247 gave Larrier a 0.9795 rating and Nowell 0.9865. Whatever. They're both at the very top of the heap in that measure.
I think a fair number of posters here who seem guarded are just carrying a lot of VCU scar tissue around. I can relate. But man! This is a Top 40 guard we’re getting here who isn’t like some 6th year Covid triple senior. He’s like a sports car that somebody hit driving off the lot. And now he’s fixed up and ready to go! (I hope so anyway.) With potentially three years ahead.
No one knows. Enjoy his time here and worry about that later.Bigger question. How many more schools will he play for?
Don't nobody feel inclined to have to answer this loaded question. We can each only do what we can do. And that doesn't include predicting the future. All we can is support in every way we can, cheer them on, and send forth positive reinforcement. That's our job.Bigger question. How many more schools will he play for?
