ATLANTA, Ga. – Even the rain couldn’t stop the sophomore duo of Brandon Allen (Trenton, N.J.) and Antonio Norvell (Portsmouth, Va.) from posting their career best times in the 100-meter dash.

Both underclassmen shined among elite competition at the Georgia Tech Relays this past weekend, a meet that was drenched by rain throughout both days of action.

Allen torched the track for a time of 10.84, while Norvell stopped the clock in 10.65.

“Both Brandon and Antonio had good showings at a tough meet,” Head Coach Julian Spooner said. “Some of the best athletes on the East Coast show up for the weekend and with the type of weather they ran in and still posted those times, it’s great.”

What happened to the French guy on the team who ran in the Olympics? He was the fastest guy on the team.
