Chris Pav Crowley THE GREAT PAVRADAMUS SAYS THE RAMS WILL WIN HUGE OVER THE DRAGONS OF DREXEL, BY A FINAL SCORE OF 80-60, IN FRONT OF A SEASON LOW 5200 FANS (THE OTHER 2300 ALREADY JUMPED OFF THE BANDWAGON, THANK GOD). BRUISER WILL BE EJECTED FOR CONDUCT UNBECOMING OF A COACH, LARRY SANDERS WILL HAVE A DOUBLE DOUBLE AND JOEY RODRIGUEZ ...WILL BE ONE ASSIST SHORT, BUT WILL SCORE 24 POINTS, AS WELL AS PICK UP 6 REBOUNDS AND 4 STEALS.
Prediction:
Attendance: 5,200 -----> 5,127
Final Score: 80-60 ------> 73-54
Coaching Ejection: Bruiser no -----> Bruiser was quite comical though
LS1 DD: YES 27 13 & 5
Joey game of his life: 24 9 6 4 ----> 8 7 2 1

The great Pavradamus is about 60% on his prediction. Does he care to make any more predictions on our post season hopes?

I don't come on here and call out players or act like I know more than our coaches, but I will call out the fans tonight ................... expected more.

Agreed, but not surprised in the least. I said we would have one of the smallest students sections of the season before the game. Not awful, but definitely not great.

The turn out was embarrassing for the program...very UR like. heck we had more in the building during that last blizzard!
Listen to the radio this am and they didn’t talk about the game but rather the small crowd. First time all year that I thought the fan base did not step up.

In all fairness, some of us students do actually go to the classes we enroll in here at VCU, not to mention we are starting to get into the thick of the semester, when midterms and group projects start piling up. Hard to justify skipping a class that only meets once a week (or one where a large portion of your grade depends on attendance and participation) to watch Drexel. At least there was a live web feed...

If VCU had beaten Mason and JMU I bet the students would have walked into Siegel with their heads in their books if they had to. Especially for a TV game.

All 32,000 of ya on Tuesday night ?...
Look I know certain games have less appeal for different reasons...just disappointed in the low turn out Thought the team could use a large & loud crowd to help right the ship and the fans provided neither. But overall our attendance & atmosphere has been great and I am getting spoiled.

So you admit you didn't show up. :lol: ;)

I skipped a class...I'll worry about that class later in April to make it up. ;)

Yeah, I can't tell you how many classes I skipped in my time at VCU. The reason students missed the game is one reason, two losses last week. It's just the nature of the beast.

Exactly. People support a winner. Rag on bandwagon fans all you want, but they are the lifeblood of this program. The couple of hundred diehards who show up no matter what are hardly representative of the general population. We have in excess of 30,000 students and we can't sell-out every game. That itself is telling. Who should care more about VCU basketball than the students? Don't compare our attendance to UR, they are doing a darn good job considering their entire student population wouldn't fill half of the Robins Center. VCU's student population could fill over 4 Stu's.

Explaining why it happens is pointless for its obviousness, and doesn't make the failure any more forgivable. Explanations are not excuses.
