My cousin is graduating from High School in Canada this year and he just committed to play community college ball with a small college up in Canada. He's a decent player (6'6" but skinny as a rail), but the competition level at the small high schools in Canada is really weak so I want him to come down here to VA for a bit this summer and give him the chance to play against some better players.

Since I'm not from this area and have no knowledge of the high school scene here I'm hoping some of you can help recommend some good bball camps or maybe even summer leagues where he could play. I obviously know about the Skaka Smart camps but I believe these are only for kids that are still in school which he won't be by summer.

Again he is graduating from HS this spring, he'll be 17 all summer and he will be playing community college ball next year in Canada (skill level would be probably be lower than DIII ball here in the states).

Any suggestions or help would be great.

send him to Rockwood Park....and tell him to wear a mouth piece

UNCW usually has a good bball camp. Give a call to the mens bball coach down there and see what's up ;)

having alaready graduated from HS may be a minor issue. Paul Webb runs a good camp in Ashland @ R-MC. Check Shaka's camp but I think that is geared to younger players. Camps typically are for the younger guys as most HS guys are in AAU or at team camps. If he needs some individual instruction PM me and I can hook you up
