I know 1-6 FG isn't much to brag about but the rest of his stat line tonight:
3 Reb, 6 Ast (1 TO), 5 Stl, 2 Blk

Could only listen to the game, but did he look as good as it sounded? (again, disregarding the FG%)
Here's to an elite back-court for the '12-'13 season. 8-)

He looked very good tonight. Had a nice floater go down that was positively Maynor-esque. It sure is pretty when it falls.

His defensive energy was big for us, but he did get away with a foul or 2 that I saw. Lucky for us though, his defense is very good. He definitely got us a couple of extra possessions with his hustle and effort.

Darius 5 of 7 for the line? Now that's getting after it. RB didnt even go to the line? (Please Im just catching up with posts and birthday stuff).

That is pretty cool to note now that you mention it Bang. Rob didn't take one trip to the free throw line. He did have numerous (SMOOTH might I add) drives to the basket tonight, but never really drew contact on them.

Juvonte is like the big man version of Rob as far as how he moves; they both seem to glide. Very smooth down the floor. I'm going to look forward to watching them grow into their games! DJ gave us some decent minutes as well. The guy is working hard! Gotta love it!

Theus was solid tonight! his stat line may not have been great, but he did a lot things tonight that do not appear on the stat line. He ran the offense really well. W&M was trying to overplay everyone that had the ball out front. Theus did not get fustrated by the defense. In fact the whole team was patient to night! Well played game!

...Don't forget Troy. Also not a huge line, but the guy everyone on the team has been saying is the best three point shooter since last year hit 2-of-3 from long range. I'm also pretty excited about someone we haven't even seen...Reco McCarter. Back court is looking pretty solid for a while.

The whole team played with great energy. Each supported the other--a real team effort. Something worth noting: we didn't depend solely on Joey. Maybe we are on to something!

Darius looked quite comfortable at the point...didn't seem bothered by the speed of the game. He's gonna be one of our favorites before the end of his senior season.

I sure hope the coaches are able to "fix" Darius' shooting mechanics on his jump/set shot. He looks pretty good at the foul line. He can get into the lane fairly easily which is a huge advantage, but without an outside game teams will back off him taking away the drive.

I wonder what would have happened if someone had "fixed" Eric Maynor's abysmal shooting mechanics....

I was remembering one play in particular, in the first few minutes of the 2nd half I believe, when W&M had a little momentum going. Darius got the ball early in the shot clock, drove the lane in control and got fouled. Think he may have hit 1-2 that trip, but I'm not sure. Anyway, plays like that (and not jacking up contested threes) help to curb momentum when playing on the road. Defense was outstanding as well.

Props to Brandenberg as well for a great game off the bench.

I was thinking the same thing, there was some solid play by both Theus and Daniels last night that should not be overlooked. The future of Rams basketball looks to be in good hands!
