Applauding Rob, but how bout that Theus?

No he wasn't, but Maynor as a soph might have been > than Dom Jones as a senior, and man I loved me some Dom Jones! :P

Jeff eventually benched Harper and went back to Maynor very late in the season...........too late as it turned out.

Understand what you are getting at, but wasn't Harpers injury what spurred Maynor's starting in the CAA tourney?

Alex's 0 point, 1 assist, 3 turnover performance in 31 minutes against Wilmington in his final start might've had something to do with it.

However, Alex was playing hurt. As to Maynor being better as a Soph than Dom was as a Senior. Dude that is flat our wrong. I know there is much love for E. but come on you cannot objectively say that one was better than the other. Certainly cannot state Maynor as a Soph than Dom as a Senior. Did you forget Dom was conference player of the year?

They both were team leaders from Sophomore year. However, Dom came in more game ready and made more of an impact as a Freshman.

Do you remember Dom and Chris Paul battling it out in the NCAA game?

First Pav is correct. Say what you will Joey is still the closest thing we have to a leader on this team. Second, I agree it doesn't look as if Joey will be healthy this season. Third, as good as Rob, and Theus look from time to time they simply cannot run the team on a full time basis as well as Joey.

Fourth, I wish we could have gotten Joey a couple weeks rest during the holiday tournament, or at the very least give the kid a confidence boost. We need him to pick it up with Brandon being out.

P.S. When I first saw this post I thought you were making a really uneducated fantasy 3 pick. Should have had more faith in you, I am sorry.
