We never mention Coach Smart's assistants. I think he has put a great crew together and the five of them have really molded this group into an unselfish energy filled team. I can now say I am completely happy with our young coach. He and the team are making great strides including holding together on the road. We won't win the rest of our regular season-there will be some bumps, especially with three players hurt now, but I see a great future. Each of the last two years they said we would be down but I really dont think we are gonna suffer with what we are losing this year, Young guys a year from now will be awesome again, Good job coaches!

THIS!

We have an excellent coaching staff all around. Hopefully we can keep them together as long as possible. They are paying huge dividends on the court and on the recruiting trail.

I didnt even mention the great recruiting which has to happen before success on the floor

I hope we're not going too far on the other end now. Doom and gloom and fire everybody when we lose a few games and everybody's gold now that we win a few games. I guess I kinda like balance.

you know Chill, we will blow a game or two down the stretch-we may even lose one at home to one of three tough teams if our shots don't fall in the last minute or foul trouble or injuries. I'm sure I will cuss him before the season is over but I'm a former coach and like the progress he has made with the help of his assts. (you willl be no better than your assts). We have some really tough games on the road and very difficult to get any team in any sport to play sky-high every game-mentally it can't happen. Look what has happened in the top ten this week-unreal.

This one time, I saw Coach Rhoades at Mojo's and I was like, "Hey what's up?" and he was like, "Nothing, what's up with you?" and I was like, "Go Rams!" and he was like, "Yea man." It was sweet. :D

I will say that having watched a bunch of RMC games when Rhoades was coaching them, I was shocked when I heard he was coming to VCU. That dude is a beast of a coach and it is not hard to see why there is some serious chatter about Mike getting a look at a D-1 head coaching job real soon.

Still in shock from last night. Awesome game. Praying Jamie is gonna be OK!

He does seem like an excellent coach with a great personality. How willing is he to relocate? Just wondering if we might lose him any time soon.
