On top of the other video that we saw from WCHS ABC 8 in May after his surgery (http://www.wchstv.com/newsroom/sports/b ... _272.shtml), WTRF 7 also did a video feature on Pierria' a couple of days ago now that he's made a full recovery and is out on the football field for the South Charleston Eagles. You can see several clips of Pierria' playing basketball during the video and get to hear from him first-hand how going through this near-death experience has changed his perspective on life.

Coach Shaka Smart is bringing a special young man into the program. It's going to be very easy to root for a guy like this.

Seems like the kid is dealing pretty well with a ton of adversity. Found it interesting when the newscaster said "There's no way he'll be playing the sport that he loves this fall, but He's OK with that"....of course they were wrong ('cause he's definately got some open field skills as evidenced by that last clip)...but it does plant a little seed of doubt with his continued success on the gridiron.

either way, a brave kid who's had to grow up quick.

Great find DB. Henry seems to be a high character kid, gone through a ton, really rooting for that guy.
 
Would love to see a video of him in about a month signing a piece of paper with VCU on it.

There are posters on here who know much more about basketball than you ever will (even though they only post once in a blue moon), so stop posting...............................do what you do best, go to the games and cheer, cater to what I think these boards should be..............................but if you won't, don't post here, your posts make my eyes bleed...............................I'm just going to go to the boards of other CAA schools that I attended and cheer for when it is convenient for me to do so because the inferior intelligence and school-girl antics I see displayed here.
