That first line caught me off guard and made me laugh.

On to the rest of your post, I think it's standard fare for fans to overestimate the ability of people coming onto their team and underestimating the the people leaving them. If a coach didn't think a player would be good at a level, then they wouldn't recruit him. Evans was recruited by Schmidt to Bonaventure and played two seasons, so I don't think the jump to A-10 play will be a problem. I also think Bamgboye and Jennings will do fine in the ACC once they get acclimated to it.

The line “Acclimated to the ACC” caught me off guard and made me laugh.

More likely it will be acclimated to getting beat down by Duke and one random other team per year, but otherwise I don’t think they’ll have much of problem competing in that second rate football conference.

i think connection w coach is important. evans is also a bit more mobile and a better shooter

I mean one was the best player on arguably the worst team in the country, the other was one of the two best players on a conference champion and NCAAT team.

I don’t know, I think the odds favor one of those two options, but draw your own conclusions.

he’s undersized at the 5, but assuming we get mitchell he won’t play that here. another thing he has over lane.

Fair enough. I think if you watch the film you'll see he isn't an undersized big. I don't think Lane is a comp any more than PJ Byrd. Or Jamie Skeen
