Best Richmond Restaurant List

Kuba Kuba is pretty small...9 people might require them to finagle some tables around. Capacity can't be more then around 35-40 if memory serves....and that includes the lunch counter. Can't beat the fried plantains, though

Lunch buffets aren't being included here in most responses, but I like the Shahi Kitchen Indian buffet on West Broad Street at the intersection with Enterprise Parkway (Across from the old Bennigans in the former Aunt Sarahs). It's a good way to sample a variety of food without going out on a limb trying to figure out what you'll like and not pay too much in the process.

Some items are kept throughout the week, but they include different meats throughout the week. Their Tandoori chicken is the most tender I've had. Chicken and goat are usually on there, but lamb is on there maybe twice a week, and fish is on there on Friday.

A really good deal. Affordability is $ out $$$. Usually under ~$11 including buffet, drink, and taxes. Less if you just have water or chai.

It's all about Farouk's in Carytown for the Indian lunch buffet :)

Gibson's is like ODU.
Take your choice.

Are you saying that Gibson's banana pudding carries a ton of hype but fails to perform?
