...based on record.

And this year our best wins are against Oklahoma and Nevada....instead of Iona and Western Kentucky.

I keep wishing we hadn't lost to Western Michigan, and people keep telling me we needed that loss.

Home games against Rhode Island and Richmond are going to be very tough. Lots of a chances to boost our resume in the next two weeks.

Great stuff. As good as we were during the AG/E Maynor years we never got off to a killer start. I never like to lose, but sometimes you go on a run after a loss like that. Kinda like what happened after the loss to Nevada last year. The focus and intensity from there out was through the roof. This was a tough test as will Rhode Island and Richmond. William and Mary won't be the early season CAA gimmie that it has been over the past few years either. Hopefully we keep rolling and stay undefeated through the next 3 games (in the state of Virginia).

A few other things I am liking so far . . .

We came into the Nevada game ranked 5th in the nation in 3 point percentage allowed at 19.1%. Tonight Nevada shot 7.1% from behind the arch.

After 120 mins of play in the Stu we have only trailed for 1 possession.

We are 49-5 at the Stu since the start of the 2006-07 season.

Bradford, Joey, Jay, Ed (tie), and Larry (tie) have all lead the team in scoring so far this year.

T finally got his cast off.

Only 3 more games without Jamie Skeen, and we don't exactly suck right now.

Only 2 of our first 12 games are outside of the state of Virginia. That is a good opportunity for the team to find it's way without Eric and build some momentum before conference play starts.

We also have a tough trap game a week from now in WIlliamsburg. Just win! All Ram fans buy your tickets to Mezzanine 24 next Saturday.

Don't forget, after these next three games (I believe) we ad an additional 6'9 245lb body in Jaime Skeen.

So if we can make it through these next three unscathed, we'll most likely be an even tougher team to play against for the remainder of the season...

If we make it through all of OOC with only one loss, I'm calling undefeated in the CAA.

Even though the realtime RPI is about as meaningful as the Mid Major Top 25....Nevada came into last night's game ranked 10th in the nation. Also, the CAA came in as the 20th ranked conference. W&M is sittin' around 22

I am REALLY lookin' forward to the Richmond game after seeing them upset the Bulldogs (Still bitter about '96)....this has been a helluva fun season so far....except for when the sky fell that one time :D

Nevada, Richmond and W&M all have really good RPIs right now. It's too early for the RPI to mean much, but it can't hurt to move up a bit from where we are right now. :D

Ya know Sometimes....this is kinda OT.....but you moved from the land of Legend Brown Ale to Brooklyn Brown Ale....lucky duck.

I guess the question is....how do we come out of these next three games?? W&M is gonna be a tougher game then the casual fan realizes.

Correct. They're going to be difficult to beat this year. We've shown flashes of the team we could be, but we're still not as consistent as we could be. I want to see us play a game where:

1. Our press is generally successful in causing TOs
2. Larry plays his game and stays out of foul trouble
3. We shoot as well as we know we can from beyond the arc
4. We hold our opponents to a dreadful 3pt percentage

All 4 of those things haven't happened in the same game yet. Any single game where we can get all 4 of those things going, watch out!
