I think yes

VCU Fans can wear it and have it understood by "fans in the know"

Poser high school and college kids can wear it with their pork pie hats and skinny jeans to be ironic and confusing

Mean people who like outerwear with dead celebrities can wear it because they revel in the untimely passing of a misunderstood thespian (The kid from Left Field was some hard hitting social commentary)
 
you might want to find out if they're allowed to sell shirts with colemans face on it. he is dead, so it's kind of exploiting a dead celeb. Dope shirt, though. Just looking out so no one gets in trouble.

Ah yes, lord knows you can't sell shirts with a dead guy's face on it. lol, really? Fact that he's dead has nothing to do with anything. They still play episodes of Diff'rent strokes... I would say that is more grounds for this exploitation we are talking about. Exploitation is the whole point of hollywood...

Also, I like the shirt.. Wish it said "whatchu" or "what you," not whatcha. Not the right quotation.

while the publicity rights/trademark issues are by far more complicated, there's also the copyright in the original photo as well (which would belong to the photographer, or whomever ended up having the right by assignment or opperation of law)

I say this just as background info on the general topic, not as advice :geek:

working on that now. If he has some printed and ready i'm going to try and bring 20-30 down to houston to sell for him.
