just an OT-fyi, but pretty much any photo taken since 1989 is protected by copyright, whether or not there is a notice/watermark ...some pics may have been put in the public domain or made available by open-ended licenses, but doing so requires the original creator to have taken such an action, otherwise they get copyright by default

putting the notice/watermark just makes it more obvious, is needed if the copyright actually gets registered, and negates a defense (really more of a mitigating circumstance) of "innocent infringement" ...and of course has the side-benefit of acting like an advertisement for the copyright holder

anyway, sorry for the sidetrack.... back to the recruiting

We got some West Coast exposure last year playing UCLA and Nevada, and again this year with Nevada. Expands the recruiting net a little.

Don't forget there have been rumors of Long Beach State being on the schedule for next year as well. Perhaps the coaching staff is trying to recruit more nationally as well with the recent NCAA success and NBA attention surrounding VCU players.

I've been told that the Long Beach State game is not going to happen next year. That would be a long trip for a single game. At least Nevada was in Reno and there were "other" things to do!!

Didn't we have a guy from there before? Maybe Vince Wilson?

He looks a little thicker than Larry did coming in and is 2 inches taller than Larry was coming out of high school. Larry was 6'9, 200 and Darrell is 6'11, 225. He looks like a good big, especially for the CAA.

I looked through all of the pics and I didnt see any of Haley. Most the pictures were of Perris High and the ones of Palmdale didnt include Haley as far as I could tell.

Shaka's energy and work ethic is just incredible. I'm watching ODU plau NI and ever time I see Blaine on the sidelines I'm so thankful we have Shaka.

Eric Maynor won two CAA tourneys, beat Duke, set school records for scoring and assists, had his jersey retired, was drafted in the first round, but never had a posse. Clearly they don't come easy, but once it does you are pretty much set. Larry rode the Posse wave all the way from being a 2 star recruit to lottery projection.
