Brad Brownell to Clemson

Gary Parrish is reporting that Clemson has focussed their search on Brownell and that an offer is being tendered tonight and Brownell should accept.

Probably not, I would think that UNCW might tender an offer to Wright St. Assoc. HC Billy Donlon since he was at the Dub with Brownell as well. If they were smart they would, but then who am I kidding? We're talking about Kelly Mehrtens here.

If I'm Shaka Smart I'm trying to schedule a home and home with them ASAP. Tell them we'll play them at their place this year and at our place next year. We lose 4 starting quality seniors next year and will have a very young team, that might be enough to convince them to play us at the Stu.

Shaka's connections with Clemson can get this done, not to mention Brownell's CAA roots for that matter.

I would think that UNCW might tender an offer to Wright St. Assoc. HC Billy Donlon since he was at the Dub with Brownell as well.

If he was at UNCW with Brownell then he know that Brownell left because of pending problems that have now since fallen off a cliff into a gorge, followed by raging rapids, fierce and hungry piranha, razor sharp rocks, and the guys from Deliverance.

I think he knows better than to attempt a stroll through that mess.
