Re: Braeden Anderson 2011 sitter

I'm confused. Why would the subject headline change from the word "recruit", which is what I thought I entered, to "sitter". Am I missing something or violating something? I guess I'm showing my age as I'm not familiar with "sitter".

looks like p@ssion is a naughty word

The censor things was interesting at first, but now it's annoying to the point that I almost don't even want to read posts anymore because I don't understand half of it. There are probably over 200 words with those three letters arranged in that order in the English language, not to mention other languages, and changing all of them to "sitter" makes for a very difficult read. And I know somebody's going to tell me to ignore it or say "fine, then don't read them, we don't care" but if we're not allowed to have opinions and voice them, what's the point in in a message board? It would just be a news board.

Ex:
cr @$$
br @$$
b @$$
p @$$
gl @$$
p @$$ ion
t @$$ le
p @$$ ed
@$$ igned
l @$$ o

pretty dumb.

Seriously guys. Um...this is a basketball forum and you cannot use the word a-s-s-i-s-t.

good write-up on him here.

Thanks.

Anderson sounds like a great kid for us to be tracking early. Different game/style than Sanders but similarly reminds me of significant physical upside potential. As this Canadian raised young mans plays another year in NC before starting his college career, he could easily leap in recruiting interest. Athletic, high energy, aggressive 6' 8" 220+ kids who are relentless on the boards are few. VCU can develop his ball handling bb IQ related skills, but it is hard to make someone aggressive, athletic and big. I hope we keep an eye on him and I'm glad we're in early.

ESPN Article
ORLANDO, Fla. --
The semifinals were the buzz on Day 3 of the U-17 AAU Super Showcase,
Here is a look at the players who impressed us on Day 3:

Surprise players
Julian Dubose (Beltsville, Md./Saint Johns)
2011, SG, 6-4, 200 pounds | AAU Team: Team Takeover
Dubose has steadily improved. He is an athletic, aggressive wing that can get to the rim. Dubose has a quick first step and can make the open three with needed time and space. He is a multiple position defender and can score inside and out. Dubose likes Siena, Delaware, Mount St. Mary's, Rice, Virginia, Vermont, VCU, Penn and Harvard.

Player to watch
Darion Atkins (Clinton, Md./Landon)
2011, PF, 6-8, 214 pounds | AAU Team: Team Takeover
He made plays on both ends of the floor and simply had a terrific game. Atkins rebounded, finished above the rim and blocked shots on and away from the ball. He faced up and hit 15- to 17-foot jumper and elevated on his turn shot in the low post. He was active, aggressive and most importantly very productive. Atkins says Wake forest is out in front for his services but that Maryland, George Washington, George Mason, VCU, Penn, Boston College, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma and Providence are also in the mix.

I saw the Team Takeover play Austin River's team...Dubose impressed me. I am happy to see our name in his list of teams. Smooth player, confident, seemed to be in the right ploace at the right time kinda guy...some hustle points but real steady. Team Takeover also has Mike Gjinbe (sp?) from Benedictine verbal to Duke

Atkins.

VCU, Penn, Boston College, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma and Providence are also in the mix.

Not too shabby to be mixed up with. He'll figure it out and keep his grades up I hope.
