Not good news, to have surgery on both knees. Sounds like he is having both done at the same time.

oh man, that sucks. it isn't often that an athlete comes back as good as they were after surgery, lets hope he beats the odds!

that comes from years of catching. heck, i was a catcher from age 8 until age 17 and even my knees hurt from it. if he was still catching, this would be an issue, but since he isn't it shouldn't be that big of a deal.
