Looks like he made the right decision. I like where our guard roster is looking soWhether we know it or not I think a lot of players are doing that anyway.

Doesn't matter what route you take, as long as you end up at the proper destination.Looks like he made the right decision. I like where our guard roster is looking so
real deal. ur rightWell I didn't see this coming. There might be hope. This kid is the real deal. Glad he loves RVA because I'm sure there were a bunch of suitors.
You still sure of this? I would have thought if that was the case we would have heard by now. NIL $ can create wild swings as we saw with Nico the former UT QB.Luke is staying too. Just got word.

Kid overplayed his hand and Tennessee did the right thing. You still sure of this? I would have thought if that was the case we would have heard by now. NIL $ can create wild swings as we saw with Nico the former UT QB.
Maybe he just wants to take the visit and is leveraging for the most he can get from VCU?You still sure of this? I would have thought if that was the case we would have heard by now. NIL $ can create wild swings as we saw with Nico the former UT QB.
1. When the judge is satisfied with the agreementMaybe he just wants to take the visit and is leveraging for the most he can get from VCU?
It also sounds like VCU doesn’t want to commit any big numbers until this court case is settled. When is that supposed to happen?

Agreed. Nico's production on the field didn't justify the price and has been about one thing at UT since the day he arrived: money. Glad UT told him to kick rocks.Kid overplayed his hand and Tennessee did the right thing.
Unlimited visits. When players are "portalizing," do they get a certain number (or unlimited) amount of free campus visits, as high school and junior college players do? A kid could hop aboard the Portal Express every year (maybe up to six, it seems) and see world,
Yea his dad told me he didn't want to play the 5. He only did it here to help the team because Ferm was so weak. He wanted to play the 4. Odom tried to recruit him back but the lure of the SEC & being able to play close to home plus a big payday was way more than VCU could offer.Dude is playing on a possible NIT championship team and he does play.
But I will agree that he seems to have regressed with the move to UGA for a year. I think MR was pretty good at developing most of his players and we did supposedly have a "big man" coach. But I think the reason he actually transferred is that he wanted to be a stretch 4 type player and uga offered him that type of spot. But his outside shooting skills were never really there...at least while at VCU. So I think uga just basically didn't do much development.
Even at Loyola he is primarily at low post player near the basket and still not on outside shooter.
Yes Willie did play here under Pollio I think for 2 years.Someone tell me ... didn't his father, 6-8 Willie Jennings out of Marshall-Walker high, play for VCU under Pollio in '88 ....
The only player I've ever heard say they grew up wanting to play for VCU was former PG Johnny Williams. It was his dream school. Really cool how it worked out.IMO program loyalty has been gone for a long time. I was told by some on this board when Wade left that I was crazy to think a player picked a school because of the school. That it was due to relationships formed with the staff during the recruiting process. Explained why players and recruits left when a coach did. Now throw in NIL, and they will be looking for a bigger paycheck every year too. It’s semi-pro sports.
No they aren't. PG committed to Fordham. The big fish is Latrell Almond 6-8 wide body. Junior class. Dominates inside. Has a slew of P5 offers. We are gonna have to come up with a lot of $$ to get him..The #10 ranked basketball school in the country is inside Richmond proper. Why don’t we start there? Or are they all blue chip guys?
