WOW WOW and WOW. Joey may be the tournament MVP but give Mr. Rozzell the MVP for the championship series. After that sick oop on Monday and scoring 27 points last night, I think someone forgot to tell him there were some fans belittling the CBI title, because he wanted it bad. He really stepped it up last night with Larry not able to make his own brand of game-changers. I was thoroughly impressed and I look forward to another year with this guy. I was already pleased with his 3-pointers and hustle, but I didn't know he could explode like that. WAY TO GO!

I loved his expressions last night. After one lay up he just shook his head like, "We ain't losing this game." No matter how many times he got whacked last night he kept getting up.

thats the Brandon I have been waiting for since he won the VHSL title for Highland Springs at the SC. I expect to see more of this next year.

It was great to see his resilience last night. Like RRR said everytime he was knocked down he got back up and it was great to see that. I think he set himself up for what we can expect more often next season. Another point that has been made over the past season is, any given night we can have someone different step up. Sometimes it was Ed, sometimes it was Rozzel, other times it was Kirill, Daniels, TJ, you get the point :D

After he took that forearm to the throat with no technical called I was thinking Brandon's gonna be lookin for some payback. What a game BROZZ!!!!

Brandon took hard foul after hard foul and kept bouncing back. At one point he seemed to look at them as if to say "Is that all you've got? Keep it coming!"

The kid has heart.

Isn't this the kid everybody wanted on the bench a while back? Interesting!

Not a surprise. Those who've seen him play over the years were not surprised one bit. He's got all the tools to do this more frequently when given the opportunity. Expect big things out of Brandon next year!!!

That was Skeen taking an elbow to the throat, the hard foul on B-Rozz was when he went up for the layup on the break and the defender pulled him down by the front shoulder....

vcubanna, that was the Brandon that let everything affect his mental outlook in a negative way. Now he is learning to thrive off of those same incidents. A little time on the pine got him straight. It happens!!

I think we should start Daniels at the 2. Brandon and Ed seem to do much better coming off of the bench for some reason. The great thing about both of them is that they know they are going to get plenty of time on the floor when they are playing well even if they are coming off of the bench and don't let it affect their game in a negative way. Both are excellent basketball players and outstanding team players.

So you'd going to start a sophomore at the 2 guard with very little experience over two guys who've had to work hard and perservere for 4 years for their time to shine?

Daniels will have his time. Next year, it should be the BRozz and EdNix show.

yep, it's ridiculous to even think that nixon and/or rozzell will not be starting next season. if either of those two should be coming off the bench, it should probably be nixon, but at least one will start. of course, all of this depends on the roster situation.

i will say this much. i love the thought of j-rod, nixon, roz, and burgess manning the perimeter next year. if that won't be the best backcourt in the CAA, i'm not sure what will be.

Agreed. Our guard play next year will be outrageously talented. AND deep.

Impressed!...I have to use that word!...Rozell is going to be a force next year! I knew he had it in him. I was just waiting for him to break out. Watch out CAA the beast is loose! :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek:
