2. Larry Sanders, VCU, 6-11, 235, Jr. – Leads all returnees in blocked shots (2.7 per game) and rebounds (8.6). Yes, he can look awful shooting a five-foot shot at times and of course he benefited from the penetration and constant attention Maynor received. But, physically, he’s a nightmare of a matchup for any team in the CAA. Sanders also spent the summer at camps refining his offensive skills against the nation’s top post players. Truly a game-changer that the NBA folks love. Must say I’m looking forward to watching he and UNCW’s John Fields go head-to-head twice this season.

ECU transfer who will be eligible this season. I believe we had offered him a scholarship out of high school. I think he will be a very good addition to the Seahawks. He will be a good CAA player.
