Home and Home: ODU,JMU,WM,UNCW,GSU,NU and Drexel
Home game: Towson and Delaware
Away game: Mason and Hofstra

Thoughts? I really think this unbalanced scheduling sucks. Having Mason once a year blows, it's always well-attended and both teams have been at the top of the conference. Hopefully we change something once this cycle is over.

on the other hand I like playing Drexel twice a year.

Yeah they look like they are rebounding and should be fairly decent next year. They have this guy coming in, Derrick Thomas, who is going to be very good. He completely outplayed GMU's recruits (Bennett and Whack) in the Capital Classic. Chris Fouch is also coming back off an ACL tear and should be one of the best pure shooters in the league from the get-go. They'll be decent.

i am familiar with GMU & ODU's recruiting class..both of whom are very good...what other CAA squads look to step up? TU seems like they have a couple and GSU got a flat out stud if i am no mistaken.
I cannot help but thisnk the GSU team has chemistry issues and their coaching staff has not done a good job mananging the talent?
thoughts?

GSU's guy is Rashanti Harris. He's very highly-rated and had offers to Memphis and Mississippi State I believe. He's known more as a defensive guy, his offense is limited basically to put-backs for the most part. I think he'll be a defensive stud in the CAA. I'd still take Larry over him though. 8-)

They also got another big in James Vincent (6'9, 230) who is fairly well-regarded as well. Dukes played very well against us in the CAA tournament and I expect him to be one of the top CAA guards next year.

fixed :)

Man...when do we go back to playing Mason twice a year? We're both losing out on one sure fire sellout every other year...

Umm...I was referring to Joe Dukes, their point guard.

RRR, read what he said again and look at the GSU roster.

I didn't pay much attention to GSU last year, but Joe shot the lights out when we played them in the CAA tourney. Next year might be the year that GSU lives up to expectations.

oh my bad. Well that's the draw back to having players on one team that have the name of another team in their last name.
