Ok, here comes my inevitable question...
What games are televised? Will there me streaming video?

hmm, the comcast network doesn't count for me. I hope the web stream is good.

Dont know how you feel about channel surfing.net, but I am sure they will have the games on there.

True, I'll just hope they cover every game. :D

How does a VCU student get tickets? Should be able to make it to the Friday game.

Line up at the Richmond Coliseum at least an hour before game time (not sure where the line is this year yet)
But just look for a line of VCU kids outside the Coliseum
Just make sure you have a VCU ID and get out there EARLY!!!

If your in the Coliseum before the VCU game however (meaning that your already inside for the noon game) not sure how that's gonna work out...

Students were at the coliseum before 8 last year for the Mason VCU final. By students I mean VCU. Mason showed up later

iracer8 make sure to check the weather ahead of time. I remember a few years where we had thermal blankets. Then you get days like last tourney which were warm and VCU fans played catch while waiting. I'm not sure what kind of line would be there for a VCU friday game since we haven't been the 5th seed since 2005. I would say follow Kazie and Ramtastic's advice and get there early. The wild card about VCU's attendance Friday is its early in the afternoon so not everyone will be able to get there due to class or work.

Friday and Saturday nights are gonna be ghost town central with all the sizzle being in the afternoon

Total BangWin. As opposed to a Sometimes BangWin, ;)

Just an FYI, Since you guys should be playing Mason at 2:30 Saturday (after ODU plays Towson/UNC-w) the way it works (as we have been the 4 seed the last 2 years) the students begin to line up on the stair cases surrounding the VCU student section about 30 minutes before the game ends. The ushers usually have no idea where you go...totally uselsss...so just get as close as you can as soon as possible and then essentially you rush it. It's pretty stupid....but it's how it works.

CAA students can also use their student i.d. to purchase a single session ticket for $5.50 on the day of the game, i'm assuming this will allow those who can't wait in line all day to still be able to get in. I'm not sure where these tickets will seat you however. I will probably be using this option since i have allot of non CAA students friends who wanna go to the game, I'm even brining along a cousin who I'm sure after watching the rams win will decide to become a VCU student himself lol
