I saw posts on our site regarding Cady LuLane so I thought I'd forward this information from Scouts:

I think he is visiting this weekend according to this:

He visited UMass last weekend, VCU this weekend, UGA Sept. 26, Ole Miss Oct. 10 and George Mason Oct. 17. All five of those schools have been in to do home ...

He is the only person we are recruiting that is recruited by those other schools. It popped up in my google alerts but I can't read the full article b/c I don't have a subscription

CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THIS?

Looks like Mason landed a quality bigman--shouldn't be any decline in future battles with GMU for CAA leadership. Now let's counter in October with a qaulity bigman verbal of our own...

Forget Cady; I really like the Rams' chances of snatching Jack LaLane; OK - he's 94, but he is the renowned "godfather of fitness" and I suspect Jack - even at 5-6 - would be a real demon on that full-court press. Check out those Jack LaLane videos and tell me different. He's definitely "athletic," though possibly not "long."

Jack, from what I can tell, still has four years eligibility ... meaning, with possible red-shirt season, he could be a thorn in Rams' foes almost until his 100th year.

And just imagine the publicty; I say sign Jack, before it's too late.

I'm still waiting for the reference he promised citing the amount of coverage the RTD has given UR sports.

Interesting to see how Cady does at a showcase like this with some big names there like Melo. good experience as always.

"I’m heading south to attend Matt Ramker’s adidas Superstar Showcase at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. There should be a good group of players from the Sunshine State at the two-day event. Some of the notables include: Fab Melo (Syracuse), Ishmael Douda (2012/Miami), Cady LaLane, Marvin Baynham (Georgia Southern), Harold Doby (Georgia State) and a host of other young players."

Cady Lalanne, PF, 2010, Oak Ridge – When he wanted to, the 6-8 power forward was one of the overall players in the camp. The big man is comfortable facing up. He can score on the low blocks. He can pass well out of the post. But he also disappeared at times. Defensively, he played hard against Douda and gave the big man some trouble at times. Overall, it was a solid effort. Lalanne will visit Ole Miss next weekend. He’s down to the Rebels, Georgia, UMass and VCU.

Giving Ishmael Douda problems is a big time compliment considering Justin was all about Douda today proclaiming that he is probably going to be a top 25 prospect in the 2012 class and was described as Solomon Alabi of Florida State with more offense.
