CAN SOMEONE TRANSLATE FOR THIS OLD GUY?

if you go to coach smart's twitter you see the pic of basabe as he is following him as well. i wouldnt put a whole lot into it as basabe hasnt done anything on twitter in a month according to the dates.

sidenote: Ive never looked at Coach's Twitter because I dont like the site or all the news it gets. However, I did read over a bit of it just now and Im even more impressed with Shaka than I was before. Congratulating the Mens and Womens soccer coaches and wishing good luck to Jamal Shuler! Either he's an extremely genuine and dedicated person or he has a successful future in politics to look forward to. Im thinking its the first one.

Yeah, the only thing I do with twitter is check Coach Smart's every day or two. I feel the same way you do. Either he is a great guy or he is good at faking it. Not that I doubt his sincerity at all. AG won games and did his thing, but I never really knew any thing about him. Sure it is only 140 characters at a time, but I feel like I know a little bit about Coach Smart already and the season has not even started yet. It is cool to have a Coach that is this open and personable. I would reccomend his page to any VCU fan that has not checked it out yet. You don't have to have an account, just use the direct link. http://twitter.com/coachsmartvcu

I don't have an account, so I can't check Coach Smart's "followers" list, but if you're talking about the list with the little icons that is visible on the public profile, then those are people that Coach is following, not that are following him... Wooden's profile says he's only following 59 people (as opposed to having 1,672 following him) ...if he really is following Coach Smart, that would probably be a pretty elite group

Learning a lot from watching the Wizards practice at the Siegel Center. Most noticeable difference: the level of communication.

Latest update from Coach Smart's twitter.
