The RTD has a nice article about the pleasures of visiting Richmond. While it doesn't begin to scratch the surface in terms of naming places to go for entertainment, food and libation, it does put a finger on the pulse of the burg. This article ought to be de rigueur for zoners who whine every year about the lack of amenities in the capital city. These blowhards, usually from the Northern Virginia suburbs or that great naval base beyond the Hampton Roads bridge tunnel always complain about Richmond when they come for the CAA tourney. Of course they are probably talking about no Burger King or Walmart within walking distance to the old brown spaceship.

This is so true - one poster boasted that one location (which will go un-named) would be close to a Food Court. Really? A food court?
