Wow is right. Very interesting. I hate to say this but I just don't think we have earn an at-large bid. I give props to the team though for going through a very tough February schedule. January was an easy schedule for us facing the bottom and middle teams. In February though we have @ODU, ODU, GMU, @JMU, JMU, @Wichita State, @NU, @UD, and @DU.
 
kinda wish we had more games left to see if we could match the gmu 14 game win streak with a 14 game losing streak. :lol: i kid. i kid.
 
Like those 5 votes we got in the polls after losing to ODU, someone ain't payin' attention.
 
Believe me, Jerry Palm pays attention. He's been one of the most accurate bracketologists around for the past decade. If he says we are "in" right now, we still have a shot.

It's more a sign that the bubble is full of bad teams than it is that we are a good team.

If it means we get a chance to dance (even in the play-ins), I'll take it.
 
Dream on. We are not going to get a bid unless we win the CAA tournament.
 
I too think it is a long shot for us to get in as an at larger but if we win Sat and then make it to the CAA finals and lose a close one to a team like Mason how would you guys feel about our chances. I would even be on the bubble then. I mean we deserve to get in over teams like VA Tech.....right?
 
No chance at an at-large. It's the same story. Mediocre 18-12 teams from a power conferences will get the nod on selection Sunday, but not a mid-major with 10+ losses.
 
Remember Drexel did go to Louisville and beat them, so maybe just maybe the CAA gets the respect it deserves this year. Anybody can be beaten in today's college basketball. And yes, VCU has the talent to win the CAA tourney, they just need to stop getting in their own way.
