Dwayne Wise over at CharmCityFinest.com covers the DC/MD/VA metro area and knows a secret that the rest of the country has yet to find out; Treveon Graham can ball. He covered the Under Armor Fall League with some of the elite teams in the region and had some very nice words to say about Treveon:

This year's Fall league has given fans a glimpse of some Elite talent. Names that ring a bell are Treveon Graham (St. Mary Ryken, Triple Threat 220 and VCU commit) has shown why he is the top swingman in the D.C./VA area in the 2011 class.

St. Mary Ryken 3-1...The WCAC top 3 powerhouse boasts the top shooting guard in the D.C./Va. Area in VCU commit Treveon Graham. St. Mary Ryken pulled off an upset by beating Princeton Day Academy previously unbeaten last weekend.

For our Northern Virginia and DC-area Ram fans, you will get a chance to watch Treveon Graham this March 20th at the Verizon Center for the 2011 Elite Showcase Basketball Classic (ESBC) High School Hoops Showcase. Treveon was the co-MVP of the inaugural 2010 game (23 points) this past spring. The Showcase invites 24 of the top players from the DC area to play. The Girls Game will play at 9:00am Sunday morning followed by the Washington Wizards vs the New Jersey Nets at 1:00pm then at 3:30 the Boys game will conclude the evening.

Just looking at him in the pic's I sense a year or two of physical development [ strength/conditioning/diet] and VCU coaching will provide Graham the jet fuel to take his game wherever he wants. It appears to me the only thing that will limit him is his work ethic, which based on what I've read about his past, is first class.

Fantastic...can't wait.

Yeah but just remember his age(16) and his height.. To me he looks solid and has the whole year to add on before coming here. He looks like Ed does but is 3 inches taller. Kid is gonna be a stud.

Talked to some friends up in the DC area who are coaches and they said that Treveon is a high major minus player and a steal for VCU. ESPN may not have seen him, but he's right in the same range as Pierria' and Briante. He is really good.

It's really amazing how little publicity he got considering how good he is (1st-team WCAC). The WCAC is no small league. It might just be one of the best in the nation. That's what happens when you play for a little known AAU team like Triple Threat 220. Arty Jones runs a tight ship there, but they simply weren't deep enough to go too far in most of the bigger tournaments. It worked out great for us though since bigger schools didn't get to see him and when some of the bigger schools like Clemson and Cincinnatti started to recruit him, we already had him in the bag.

I think we'll be hearing very good things about Treveon this year and I expect he'll be on the national radar sooner rather than later.

Can't wait for his schedule to come out so I can catch some of the games
