Ok, I've been asked by multiple people to try and figure out a way to lead our students in new cheers (the impetus being people not liking "you suck_ballz" during the intros). While I would prefer our cheerleaders lead this, I said I would do what I can. So what are your ideas?

No organization, no creative cheers. Wish we could get something going like Utah St. has. Stuff like that doesn't happen over night guys. Takes baby steps.

Odds are 3:2 that any cheer made up by the students will involve four-letter words. :?
 
My 4 year old got a cheerleader doll for her birthday. It does one cheer -

"Cookies and cream, cookies and cream, what's a matter with the other team?
Nothing, nothing, nothing at all.
They just (clap, clap) can't play ball."

I laugh every time I hear it.
 
On your white board you need to write:

"Free beer if you cheer!"
"Free beer if you cheer!"


Of course you would then be required to supply beer.
 
hey credit to the student section for the hofstra game...they got rid of the you suck but still turned their backs...that works for me
it also shows me that 4 letter word chants are unncessary. it will get done.
