Club Seats for the torunament

A lot of people have asked me about extra Club seats for the tournament. Well, there are just not as many around this year! They are going to be hard to come by for VCU fans.

May I make a suggestion. Start calling the other schools NOW and get on their list. Most of the Club seats are in the same general area. Just tell them you are a grad and live near Richmond. A little white lie. Or just try to order them on-line. Any Club Seat you get will get you into the section. The ushers are usually pretty liberal for the early games, letting you sit where you want. When the crowd comes you have to sit in your regular seat.

But start NOW and spread the word. Each team is allocated the same number of seats. So the schools that don't bring as many fans will have extras. They will turn them in late, but if you buy from them they won't go to another school.
 
Should be in the next week or two. But most schools take reservations in advance. Might be good to try to get on the lists now, if possible.

If memory serves, the CAA announces the seating arrangements during the Bracket Buster weekend. I think it depends on what place each team is in at the time.

Seat locations will be determined by the CAA based on the league standings as of Feb. 17.
 
Got our tourney tics through NU last year...good seats and didn't have any problem getting them. I actually waited pretty close to tourney time and their ticket office seemed excited to get rid of them.

If we win our next 3 games, we would be no worse than the 3rd seed for tournament seating purposes. We would be one game ahead of Drexel and own the tie breaker over Mason. That should get VCU fans decent seats for the tournament.

Man ya'll blew it though, waited too long and didn't get them delivered to your house.
 
As Rick said, Club tickets are getting more and more difficult to get each year as we have more sponsors...
They are also $100. each this year...
 
How should students go about getting tickets? Same way as described above?

Students get in for free. Get out at 10am every morning and wait for Keith and his crew to come scan you in.
