This is actually old news that happened while I was on vacation, but I didn't see it on here at all. Remember Coach Edwards from Grant's staff? He was a defensive coach for us and got lost in the shuffle after Grant left for Alabama. We'll he's resurfaced at our conference foe Towson!

It sure is going to be weird seeing him on the opposing bench at the Siegel Center this year.

"Allen Edwards comes from real pedigree," Kennedy said. "His experience playing for Rick Pitino and Tubby Smith and working under Kyle Macy and Anthony Grant has prepared him to have a great impact here at Towson."
In 2006 he joined the staff at Virginia Commonwealth, helping the Rams to a 76-25 record and a 45-9 mark against Colonial Athletic Association teams. The Rams earned two NCAA berths and made one NIT appearance. In the 2007 NCAA Tournament VCU sent Duke home after a first round upset.
With Allen as its defensive coordinator, VCU led the nation in 3-point field goal percentage defense and was top 10 in the country in field goal percentage defense for the 2007-08 season. Last year the Rams led the CAA in field goal percentage defense.
