Anyone else notice that Coach Smart has not posted a Twitter since 3 Oct? Also about the same time the academic advisor deep sixed Bradley's dream of Pharmacy School.

Maybe nothing to it, but Coach may be smarting from the sting.
 
The academic advisor story was misinformation. That did not happen.
 
I was told it did happen by a very good source, otherwise, why do you think we went off Bradley's list right after his visit?

Sounds like someone is running revisionist damage control.

Damage control could be the case...maybe you had the same source DB had...but I'd like to atleast think that we didn't send a ton of cash and time down the drain
 
I don't think we need to be reading too much into a lack of twittering. Let's face it, it's not always a high priority item especially for someone as busy as I'm sure Shaka is. You also have to be careful with as many good players as we are courting right now. VCURAMNATION should certanly be able to attest to the amount of speculation that are drawn from these things.
 
Coach Smart may have also been holding off on his twittering due to preparations with Norwood to give Grand Rounds at VCUHS Dept of Surgery today. Both did a great job - talking about leadership, recruiting/interviewing in their world, and how it relates to the MD world.

As many have said before me, our new coach comes off as a well-spoken, insightful leader for our team, a great role model for his players, and just a great "face" for VCU basketball and the university as a whole. Hard to believe he is only 32. Although recent recruiting events (at least as perceived on these boards) had made me anxious about our future, having met Coach Smart, I now have no doubt we will be better than fine, this year and beyond.

Is it November yet?!?!?

I've been telling them that for years. ;)
 
It could also have something to do with potential restrictions on Twitter from the NCAA (they like to put rules on everything), and Coach trying to stay ahead of the game in running a clean program.
 
He posted yesterday and then again earlier today. I think everybody is reading too much into it.
