i'd love to see these horns framed around a Ram head with a tunnel built through the middle. Put it on the west side of the siegel center so that the team could run out of it before the games.

I'm honestly a bit on the fence about them. I think its a cool idea, but I think it would look better with a ram head. They looks kinda silly just floating there

...I think I remember Tim, but the painters and sculptors didn't mingle all that much (back then we had separate studio buildings many blocks apart)

some of you on the spot locals should post some more pics of those things, from other angles and at differing scales ...I like the idea, but it's kinda hard to judge from just the one shot

I pictured that, and now I can't stop laughing! Perched above the main entrance/student entrance area looking towards the broad st. deck... that would be amazing, and simultaneously stupid. The tribe might think they're playing a home game at first!

You are suppose to yell into the hands and the horns amplify the sound. I also designed these small plastic horns that you can yell into at games like little megaphones. Cheap and made in china. The University has not ordered any yet.
If anyone has any pics, I would appreciate you send them to me. Since I live in Beijing, I have not seen the sculpture up yet.

VCU is the greatest and GO RAMS !
