Congrats Coach Smart!

I know we should've gotten 20 a few games ago, but I'm not the least bit disappointed about this season. We've got a great coach that has recruited awesome talent and we will be so ill next season.
 
If he doesn't and we still finish 4th, will we still get to enjoy Andy's insightful posts?
 
Winning at ODU would just be the icing on the top of Shaka's first regular season at VCU! I was a critic at first, but he has done a great job with the team this year.

Win at ODU or not, Coach Smart has done one heck of a job. :D He has my vote for "Coach of the Year."
 
Did Monte Ross win 20? I mean for his career.
 
That brings up some good questions:

1. 20 regular season wins as a first time/first year coach = Coach of the Year?

2. Would 21 wins and a fourth place finish solidfy him as Coach of the Year?

Earlier comments had Coen at NE as the potential COY, but they are fading. Same for Shafer and Flint. So, does this open up COY for Coach Smart?

Probably not considering we have underacheived based on media day prognostications. We are going to be either a 4 or 5 seed and we were predicted to finish 3rd behind ODU and NU.
