A person can tell the world anything there, coaches be damned.

About two hours before top-seeded George Mason and fourth-seeded VCU tipped off their CAA Tournament semifinal game on Sunday, Patriots point guard Andre Cornelius posted this on his Twitter account: The game is over don’t forget to tell VCU that’s over

“You just don’t do that,” Skeen said. “You would think guys learn, when they get to college that anybody can beat anybody.”

Smart has posted messages from Twitter and sentences taken from online articles in the locker room this season, to motivate his team. His players are competitive and those comments stir their juices.

For the record, Skeen scored 21 points in 37 minutes. He blew up Mason’s defensive game plan, hitting 4 of 6 3-pointers. He said he couldn’t remember taking that many long-range shots in one game, including the run-and-gun AAU circuit.

Cornelius? He was 2-for-8 from the field, 1-for-7 on 3-pointers and only average on defense, considering VCU point guard Joey Rodriguez had 13 points and only two turnovers.

Cornelius is a very cocky dude and he showed it today. You have to be smarter than that as a player because you know once you post something like that it becomes bulletin board material for the other team.
 
Think James's tweet from after the ODU game be required reading for the Rams tomorrow?
 
Don't know exactly, but JRod was pretty upset about it.
 
The amazing thing is that Coach L hasn't taken away his account yet.

He's in good form taunting VCU fans after they called him on the tweet too. He's one cocky kid. I guess you have to be to an extent, but I hope he learns humility at some point. Life is a b, it'll teach him one way or another.

Darius James is Mr_JamesV, but he keeps his tweets private I believe so I have no clue what he said to Joey.
