We can get this kid if we ask for help from the right person...not saying we can't get him on our own...but someone from there could help us with this kid big time !
 
Wow!!! Sounds like a Larry Sanders clone! Would be great get for us! 185lbs...don't they feed these kids in high school?

Wow - - glad they are recruiting this kid, but it's a ways off and as high as he is rated I guess I don't want to get my hopes up. We haven't shown we can land the elite recruits yet. I know we had two NBA caliber players on our team last season, but they largely were under recruited and not seen as "big-time" recruits when we signed them.
 
Second coming of Larry for reallll. Would be really cool if we got him.

We'll be great, i love the attitude of the entire team, and the new coaching staff is second to none. I can't wait to see them get the new players in here and get started. Its gonna be an exciting season.

I agree, and that because we have to totally revamp the team with Eric gone. We are going to be seeing a whole new team out there with new defensive pressure schemes and we're going back to a true 94 feet both ways kind of game. We went away from that last year. Plus, who is going to step up and be the new VCU star? Will it be Burgess? Gavin? Sanders? Skeen? Can Theus be the real deal at the point? There are tons of unknowns and it's exciting! :) It'll be awesome to see this team coming together and forming a new beast come Tourney time.
 
That would be one heck of a get for the Rams...especially with Larry potentially bouncing for "the league".
 
Larry has made great progress at VCU the past two years but he is not ready for the NBA now or next year and needs another two years to get to that caliber. Hopefully he will get his college degree and help us and himself get ready for a career at the NBA level. He is a super defensive weapon but needs work on his offense and physical strength. Another center like Damonte to be his mentor and back up would be awesome.
 
Shaka went to see him play in the NBPA Top 100 camp, although he is listing South Carolina as the current leader
