We are looking for teams for a 2 game tournament in Richmond on Dec 29-30, 2010. This is not a MTE (winner plays winner and loser plays loser). Very good guarantee available! ($$$, hotels rooms for 2 nights, and team gifts) Please call me or email if interested.

Tournament, 2010-2011 03/02/2010 - 11:17am

Yep,been around for a while. One top 25 team from last season has reportedly committed to playing.

Folks, as a long-time season ticket holder, I'd like my first post on this board to be useful. Thus, I offer this nugget taken from a Cornell basketball blog:

The last few weeks we have been digging around the internet, talking to other bloggers, and speaking with insiders, trying to pick up scoop on Cornell's 2010-2011 schedule. Here is a sneak preview of Cornell's opposition for next season. We have identified at least 25 games. Cornell is expected to round out its schedule with a few more home games and will play a total of 28 games. No Division III teams are expected to be on the schedule.
at Penn State
at Seton Hall
at Syracuse
vs. South Carolina
at Lehigh
at Albany
at Binghamton
at VCU Tournament (with New Hampshire and Norfolk State)
at Boston University
vs. Bucknell
14 Ivy League Games

Not certain how accurate this is, but it makes some sense. Here is the link for this blog: http://cornellbasketball.blogspot.com/2 ... -2011.html

I look forward to being at the Stu for tonight's matchup. Go Rams!

Ahh so Cornell was in the Top 25 this year for a bit too. Not bad having a Sweet Sixteen team coming in to the Stu. Great first post and welcome!

yea, that is right, but cornell is losing 8 seniors arent they?

A tournament would be fun, but with all the DI talent within a 200 mile radius of Richmond we're talking right now about Cornell, New Hampshire and Norfolk State? Be still my heart...

9 seniors actually, and 4 out of their 5 starters are seniors. Their two players off the bench with the most minutes are also seniors.

They definitely won't be the same team next year...no where near close. They'll probably go back into obsecurity next year.

Something tells me that teams like Dook, Maryland and Georgetown wouldn't exactly be thrilled to play a tournament hosted by a team that finished fifth in the CAA the previous season.

I'm hoping this tournament is where everybody plays everybody atleast if not we control it to get the best matchup
