Well, Lunardi says we can't guard his lard a$$, but we darn well showed we could guard USC. That was an outstanding effort tonight on the defensive end, just outstanding!

Can't get much better than that on D -- held them to under 50 points. Not too shabby.
 
Honestly one of the best defensive games I've seen of our team this entire year.
 
seriously I counted on my hand on how many good looks USC got. Absolutely the best D performance of the year and I couldn't be more proud to be a student or a fan of these rams.....SUCK IT little Dickie V, Jay BIas, and Loe LARDI. Don't look at us for your crybaby snubs.
 
Took it up a notch tonight. Would love to hear what Dick Jay and Joe have to say.

I'm thinking something along the lines of "Well vt would have won by 14 so obviously the committee made a mistake"
 
Great Defense Rams!! My hats off to all our players and coaches, the emotion shown by the freshmen was a great look at our future.
 
These guys took it to USC the whole time. Having watched these guys like all of you, they played defense so well I came away ver impressed.
 
We won this game on defense people no question-when are these know it alls gonna learn about mid majors-what do we have to do? win the ncaa three or four years in a row?

And we have been bad mouthing our half court defense all year but I will aadmit that shaka finally playing some zone and match up has helped

BTW, espn is talking about us giving georgetown a fit if Wright doesn't play well-if I'm smart i would over play him to his right and make him go to his left all night with the hurt hand
 
The Defense kept us in the game in the first half when we missed a ton of good shots! I liked that we went zone for a few possessions and then switched to mand and back. That kept USC off guard!
