I know JMU hasn't had the best year...but I wonder how anyone could leave Bowles off the CAA first team list...

Averaging 21 points, 9.9 rebounds, 1.8 blocks, and only 2.4 fouls per game.
Those are some SERIOUS stats, and I just don't see how you can leave that off a first team list...but at the same time, who's spot does he take? Gerald Leigh? Larry Sanders? Neither?

Who you guys got on your first team list?

I have to see him play against VCU before I can determine. Same with Mr. Softee.

Perhaps DistrictBaller can do another Top Big Men in the CAA list and have Mr. Bowles at the top prior to his first meeting with the Landlord. We all saw how that turned out for John Fields in his first trip to the SC earlier this year!

Hahahahahahaha...

I'm on it. ;)

You've gotta make first team with those numbers...but the issue may be that JMU still sucks. Sure, he's getting big numbers, but is it in mop up situations sometimes?

I'd leave off Lee. He's shown no improvement statistically over last year, while others have accelerated past him.

I think most ODU fans would agree. He's not even the best big on his team anymore. I think that honor goes to Frank Hassell. Lee has always been a good, but not great player.

I would agree with Bang. I am waiting to see Denzel Bowles face Larry Sanders, but if the 1st Team, 2nd Team, and 3rd Team came out today, I would but Bowles on 2nd Team because he started playing in the 2nd Semester and JMU us 3-9

As for Gerald Lee, I think he is a good player but I would have to put him on 2nd Team. Yeah he averages 14 ppg, but he is 6'10 and he only averages 5 rpg. If my vote for First Team counted right now, I would have Larry Sanders, Charles Jenkins, David Schneider, Matt Janning, and Chaisson Allen. but thats just me
