DEPTH

I've been a fan since the 71-72 season and I cannot think of a VCU team with more quality depth than this one will have by the 2nd semester. There has been better individual players and possibly better starting 5 players, but I cannot think of a team that has had as many potential starters as this one.

Let's hope everyone stays healthy and I don't jinx them.

VCU's first year in the CAA had a ton of depth also. That team went 19 - 3 to finish the season before losing to Mississippi State in the NCAA's 58 - 51. Missippi State went on to the Final Four that year.

Way to go Ramathon, you just did jinx us! I have only been around since 2000, but every time it appears as though depth is one of VCU's strengths, we end up with an injury or two, and student athletes becoming inelligible for one reason or another and/or declaring their intent to transfer. Let it play out, man!
