DU @ VCU in-game thread

Losing sucks. Glad we won tonight. Because losing friggin' sucks.
 
Super win w/ good performance from all that played. Glad to see Rozell scoring and Larry playing with passion and cofidence. Rod made some poor choices early but settled down nicely. One win at a time destiny is in our hands. Defense was outstanding and our threes were falling. Go rams!

larry's approach was better
Larry was talkative. Stance, body language...
Bottle it. Bring it back Saturday...
Leadership.. When the players themselves bring it on
Full court pressure and then half court pressure...made a difference...
Brandon a change, different focus...
Bradford was terrific...if he has the right mind focus...fire in his eye....
Great defensive intensity..if we can practice...communication makes the difference for us..or we are not as good.
Great teams have that resolve.
SC provides good crowd for the players.
Coach Damrot (sp?) is his best freind (talking about Akron's HC)
Akron will be alot like playing Drexel (editor: GOOD THING!)
 
Thanks for summing that up Bang! Not that I would have rather been watching at home, but you do miss things like the interviews and commentary when attending in person.
 
Larry's fake pass that even faked out the camera man, to the dunk. How sweet was that? A ton of great plays like that tonight. The behind the back pass from Brandon I believe, was excellent also.

The grin on Larry's face after the fake pass and dunk was priceless! I don't know why neither one of those plays made that stupid little ESPN Gym Gems thing and the Spencer dunk for Drexel did! :roll:
