Looks like he ranked 1st in Assists for that entire night. There were 5 people who tied for 10 after him, so he had +7 more assists then the next person behind him.
 
It will be fun tracking Joey's assist total and see where he finally lands in the VCU record books and if he can be the NCAA assist leader for 2010-11. Can Joey beat Eric's single season record?

It also speaks volumes about the talent we have around Joey and our players ability to finish. Granted it is just the first game of the season and, no offence UNCG fans if any are reading, but it is UNCG not UNC that we played.

Withrop is a better team. A double digit assist in this game could mean Joey is in for a serious stat stacking season.
 
I love Joey, but he's got nothing on Rondo - that guy is playing out of his friggin' mind! :shock:

If Joey stays healthy I definitely think he can break the 224 assist record set by Eric. Well, I don't know if he is ever 100% healthy, but as long as he doesn't miss any games. We will have to wait and see.
 
He was not 100% on Friday. He said something on the radio about not being able to push off with the bad foot. He is something to watch. The guy can flat pass the ball! :shock:

He would have had more assists last year if we could have finished the play more often. We had way too many missed shots early in the season.
