Larry Sanders, F, VCU: Sanders has long been the most talked about player in the CAA. Yet because the Rams haven't been on top of the standings, he has been a bit under the radar. Well, that's not the case anymore. Sanders scored 29 points (13 of 15 FG) with 13 rebounds and five blocks in a win over Drexel. He then followed that up in BracketBusters win over Akron with 15 points, nine boards and three blocks. He also shot 20 of 24 during the week.

20 of 24 from the field. Those are Bill Walton numbers.

He wasn't just shooting layups either. he was hitting form 15-20 feet a few times, and looked good doing it.

I like that his D seems to be coming back -- that could propel us in the tourney more than any offense he provides.

Absolutely, but 20 of 24 ain't bad either. It is good to see him blocking shots once again. He has blocked as many in the last two games as he did in the five before that (8).
