I cannot believe Bryant College is Div I. My Dad had a pole vaulting scholorship there.

The NFC East is more open than people thought (unless you're the Redskins. Really, has there been a worse 2-4 team ever?).

WHY THE heck did the Patriots go for it on a 4th down when they were up 40 something points. Seriously, what the heck.

Why didn't the titan's stop them?

It's not the Patriot's job to take it easy when they get a lead. Up until last week the Pat's offense has been lackluster. Can't blame them for taking every chance they get to improve on it.

heck, I thought Billy would have benched Brady for the 2nd half after losing him last year and not having Cassel to be the backup this year. I see your point of getting that extra practice though John. Whether or not you were joking, they probably did need it after the slow start their offense has had this season.

Bill has ran up the score every chance he got

priceless seeing him walking off the field all angry with like 3 seconds left in the Super Bowl

Sources: Mike Shanahan Turned Down Redskins Coaching Job
Posted Oct 19, 2009 4:35PM By Thomas George (RSS feed)

Sources have confirmed that the Washington Redskins recently tried to hire Mike Shanahan to replace Jim Zorn and Shanahan declined. The sources would not rule out the possibility that Shanahan would reconsider in the offseason.

"Shanahan told the franchise there was little he could do in the middle of the season for them and that changing coaches during the season in the NFL rarely works,'' a Redskins management source told FanHouse. "Several people that Dan Snyder trusts have suggested, if he makes a move, he should turn it over to secondary coach Jerry Gray. That could still happen.

"We are trying to give Jim every chance to turn it around. The move to [bring in offensive consultant Sherm] Lewis is to take more off Jim's plate, especially the play-calling, because it is not working, and that is where Jim is spending much of his time. Now he can coach the entire team. Let's see where that gets us.''

I don't believe Brady played after the first drive of the second half.

Apparently Dallas turned down a big offer before the trade deadline. Nobody really knows who was involved yet. Maybe we'll find out.

I'm thinking Ware.

No way they even consider Ware

I heard it was Jay Ratliff to NYJ

I didn't say they didn't considered that, someone proposed it to them. I'm sure we'll find out soon.

Apparently it was Marty B

A league source told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen that the deal in question was the Bengals attempting to acquire tight end Martellus Bennett, who was a second-round pick of the Cowboys in 2008. The source offered no other details of the proposed trade, which was ultimately turned down by Dallas.

I would have traded him if I was Jerry..too bad he is a horrible GM lol
