Former Recruits and Players

This is spot on Munchies. I'm not a pile on MR guy, but it sure has been frustrating at times to watch players we know are very talented just kind of hit this wall under Rhoades where they don't reach the potential most people can see they have. I looked up the last game played for each of our transferred out players from last year and as of last night they had scored a total of 102 points (total for all of them) in their most recent game. And we consistently were a low efficiency offense. Jamir 26 and Nunn 27 leading the way. Not even considering previous transfers, MBJ and Ward.
I'm not either, I love these former coaches and the family members I've met. But facts are facts. The team last year got some things done, but not one of them were accomplishing what we're seeing them accomplish right now. And collectively, whether we wish to admit it or not, they were not nearly achieving their potential.

Just like going from a freshman to a sophomore; sophomore to junior; junior to a senior, good players get better every year. That is what you are seeing with those MR players. Good/great players continue to get better each year.

Other teams definitely have helped them home in on and develop their talent and skills. We saw flashes while each were here, but nothing like what we're seeing each do elsewhere, and apart from each other.
Basically. Even if you take MBJ, Banks, and Tsohonis out of the equation for going to "lower" teams (which you shouldn't because talent is talent), you have Nunn and Watkins balling out at P5 schools - Nunn at a recent national champion and Watkins with a legendary coach.
