Does anyone know what our KK is doing ?Indeed, this is the other, older Kuany Kuany and not the one who played for VCU. Although it would have been awesome.
It doesn't help that even the South Sudanese team mixes them up sometimes.

Unfortunately that is not VCU's Joey Rodriguez. Looks a lot like him though.![]()

That's actually one of the few Taiwanese teams I've heard of, and yes, they have an absolutely rabid fan base. The Taiwanese league also pays pretty well so I'd say Larry landed in a great spot.Larry Sanders signed with a Taiwanese team today. Beer Leopards. Commenters say they have a diehard very enthusiastic fanbase.
Just checked on salary it looks like 20-25 k per month but tops out 180-200k per year. Not NBA level but not a bad hall if this is your job. You get to live overseas, they pay for your accommodations, food, provide a car and sometimes a driver, pay your agent fee, and typically taxes (local and country taxes not US).That's actually one of the few Taiwanese teams I've heard of, and yes, they have an absolutely rabid fan base. I still think the Beer Leopards should play an international friendly with the San Miguel Beermen of the Philippines (the Filipino league is heavily corporatized and all the teams are named after sponsor companies and things associated with them).

Yeah, compared to a G-League salary (if you're not contracted with an NBA team), that's a pretty nice chunk of change.Just checked on salary it looks like 20-25 k per month but tops out 180-200k per year. Not a bad haul and the experience is worth it all.

Having spent some formative years in Taiwan, I can say that $180-200K per year would support a pretty sweet lifestyle. It's a pretty danged cool place to live. I can also say that there's no better eatin' anywhere in the world. I could eat my way through Taipei's street vendors as a kid and not pay for it. As an adult, I would weigh 11,000 pounds after a year there.Just checked on salary it looks like 20-25 k per month but tops out 180-200k per year.
